Clipper Exxpress was established in 1938, by the Chambers family, as a land transportation company dedicated to ideals of innovation, service and reliability. In 1987, the company was sold to Arkansas Best Freight Corporation, and in 2006 was acquired by the Wheels Group and re-branded Wheels Clipper. Based in Chicago, Wheels Clipper offers a full range of light-asset and non-asset based services and solutions that optimizes supply chains and improves business efficiency. Wheels Clipper offers one-stop integrated highway, rail, TL, LTL and warehousing services and access to over 2000 carriers and all Class 1 North American railroads.
